TWO CLEAR RATE SCENARIOS

First loan this year

4% per month

Your first short-term cash loan in the calendar year.

Another loan this year

2.5% per month

For a subsequent short-term cash loan in the same calendar year.

Both scenarios use the same fees and limits. The comparison switch does not verify your borrowing history or approve a loan. An existing agreement keeps its rate when the calendar year changes.

The complete fee schedule

Amount paid to you
R500–R5 000 in R100 steps, over one, two or three months. You receive the full principal. Fees are listed separately and paid with instalments; no release fee is deducted in advance.
Interest
4% or 2.5% per month, calculated daily on outstanding principal using the monthly rate ÷ 30. Actual elapsed days determine the charge. Principal reduces at each scheduled repayment; no interest is charged on fees or on interest. The monthly rate is not an all-in APR.
Initiation fee
The lower of 10% of the amount borrowed or R100, before VAT. Including VAT, this is R57.50 on R500, R80.50 on R700, and R115 on R1 000–R5 000. Charged once per new agreement and spread across the instalments.
Service fee
R40 + R6 VAT = R46 per full calendar month. The first and final partial calendar months are charged proportionally to active days. No separate platform, membership, disbursement or ordinary payment-processing charge.
Credit life insurance
R0. No insurance is required, charged or provided under this cash tariff. There is no bundled life, unemployment or device cover. Read the insurance explanation.
Everyday+ tools
R0. Our free learning and planning tools do not affect either rate scenario. No points or cash rewards are offered.
Early settlement
For this reference tariff, there is no early-settlement penalty. The calculation assumes outstanding principal, interest accrued to the settlement date, any unpaid initiation fee and accrued service fees. Future interest and future service fees fall away. Request a dated settlement quote; the full scheduled total is not a settlement amount.

R2 000, with nothing left out

The service charge is R45.07 because this example spans parts of September and October. It is not a flat R46 charge for each repayment interval.

VAT is already included

Initiation: R100.00 net + R15.00 VAT. Service: R39.19 net + R5.88 VAT. Total VAT: R20.88. VAT is 15% on these fees; interest is exempt. No tax is added again to the displayed total.

Dates, rounding and smaller payments

Choose an example payout date in the calculator. Repayments fall on the same day of the next month, or its last day if that date does not exist. The estimate uses calendar dates without moving weekends or public holidays. A personal quote must show the actual agreed dates.

Accrual includes the payout date and excludes the repayment date. Interest uses actual days over 30. Service fees use actual active days divided by the days in each calendar month. We round each calendar month’s net service fee and VAT to cents, then allocate them across instalments without duplicating fees.

Equal principal is repaid each month. Interest reduces with the balance; fees and rounding may make instalments different. Remaining cents go into the final instalment. The full schedule always adds up to the total.

If your circumstances change

This tariff has no automatic rollover, top-up or late-payment penalty. Missed payments do not become a new loan. A revised arrangement requires an agreed schedule; statutory collection or enforcement costs, if applicable, must be separately justified and disclosed. This estimate assumes every instalment is paid on time.
